There is a 3 month expiration period for the grant from the date it is issued. If the voucher expires, we can always apply for a new one.

This could be a possibility. It will depend on factors such as the current size of your radiators, the number in each room, and the age of the radiators. The reason is because heat pumps operate at a lower temperature than boilers. Recomendations (if any) will be made after a heat loss survey.

Installations can normally be completed in 1 to 3 days. It can be longer if other work is required, such as changing radiators or installing underfloor heating.

An air source heat pump is easy to operate and use. After the installation is complete, the engineer will give you an overview/walk-through of the system, and will be available to answer any questions you have. There will also be a manual, and most heat pump brands even have an app which gives you the option to adjust your system from the app itself.

You can keep the heat pump switched on all day and night. The system is much more efficient (and cost effective) when it stays on at a lower temperature for a longer period of time. This will mean the temperature will stay even throughout the whole property.

An annual service is strongly recommended. You might also want to check your outdoor unit every now and again to ensure that leaves are not blocking the filter. Apart from this, you should face far less issues with the heat pump system than a boiler.
